and hence produces a high quality sound. This electric violin can be

connected to an amplifier (sold separately). When connected to an
amplifier, sound produced from the electric violin can be heard through the
amplifier.

Violin is made with solid wood
with a beautiful finish. Top of the violin is made with spruce while
the side, neck and back are made out with maple.

High performance under-bridge transducer pickup ensures
violin's natural sound is picked up and transmitted with minimum amount of noise and distortion.

High performance preamp provides you with uncompromised command of the
electric violin sound effect. It has both Tone and Volume control. Volume control allows you to affect
electric violin sound volume.

A standard 1/4" output jack
is built-in for connecting the electric violin to the amplifier or tuner
using the instrument cable.

Tuning pegs are made out of ebony wood for trouble-free tuning. Ebony is preferred over hardwood since it is more stable and less likely to slip causing violin to go out of tune.

Fingerboard is made out of ebony for solid playability and intonation control. The hardness of ebony wood protects the fingerboard from denting by the fingernail. Dents on the fingerboard make it very difficult to play the violin in tune.

Accessories

- A 6 foot premium quality instrument cable is
included. This cable is used to connect the electric violin to an
amplifier or a tuner. This instrument cables has extra insulation and
EM shielding that keep other signals from interfering with the sound of the
violin.
- A headset is included. This is to allow
the electric violin to be practiced in silence mode and without an
amplifier. The sound of the violin will be transmitted through the
headset. Practicing late into the night will not bother anyone.
- 9V monitor battery included (this battery is included for initial checking of
electric violin operation only. Not intended for normal operation.)
