The stand is constructed of strong, lightweight aluminum and feature the famous friction-grip base with greaseless shaft that allows the desk to be raised, lowered or angled with a simple, one-hand operation. There is no screw or other mechanisms to to tighten to keep the stand desk up at the right height. Very easy to use and very easy to change height. The stand comes with a large 20" (width) by 12-7/8" (height) desk. With the desk depth of 2-1/4", this stand can hold a lot of music! One-hand operation of height adjustment from 39" to 60-1/2".
